^That's the standard '60s Jekyll/Hydekit. I was referring to the smaller '70s Monsters of the Movies version, where doctor & Hyde are separate diorama kits.

Thanks though--I do have the Moebius reissue.

You do realize that Moebius has already done Hyde?

And they will have a new Lugosi Dracula coming out early this year.

From what I've heard, Lugosi, Jr. is an attorney whose licensing interests are older & more tenacious. I'd be surprised if the various heirs worked in tandem.

^Even odder is the fact that the Mummy model (and I'm assuming the Wolf Man) is licensed by the Chaney estate! But no Karloff mention on the Frankenstein box, even though his photo-shopped image is used on the package, and the sculpt likeness is still that of Boris from "Bride of Frankenstein".

I think I may have left the "inner mouth" out of my 90s Drac. I think I did it to make room for my tooth pick fangs. Oddly enough, this new Drac comes with an inner mouth too, although the instructions seem to omit it and it seems like it won't work with the new sculpt. I can't remember what my 90s inner mouth looked like, but this one looks like a set of gums with no teeth!

I think the Wolfman is the same sculpt as always. I think only Dracula was changed.

    Thanks for posting pix, Chris!

Hmmmm, my built-up Drac must be the a '80's reissue? The mouth is vey different, molded open/hollow with a piece that you glue inside, as with Wolfman.

I like the resculpt--is Wolfman altered similarly?

A little late, but here are head comparisons between Revell's early 90s reissue of Dracula (which I presume uses the original Aurora sculpt) and the new one they put out in 2010

Please be kind to the crappy paint work on the built-up older Drac. I was in high school! I added tooth picks for fangs.

As you can see, the new sculpt is similar, but different enough to get around the Lugosi estate. That being said, there is still a Bela feel about it.

I asked, and they said they didn't plan to do Dr Jeckyl or Mr Hyde.... but hopefully things change in the near future. (I AM quite pleased with the reissue of the last Monster Scenes kits.)

I have my older Revell reissue built-up model. I'll try and post some pics of the two heads together later.

    I'd like to see that!

I have most reissues, but need a Phantom & the Customizing kits... I hope Moebius continues the 1/12 Monsters if the Movies, too!

Has it been resculpted, or merely resized?

I'd love to find them locally. All we have is a Super Kmart and they haven't had any models in forever, shoot I used to be able to find a few models at Big Lots but no more. About the only place to get them around here are at hobby shops and then they're around $30 or more a pop.
