Haha! So many great scenes! I love it when the huge guy explodes, the cop puking on the guy.... so wrong.
Here's a deleted scene

Palitoy: I Drink your Blood is such a great artifact from the early 70's, post Charles Manson, flower children gone bad era.
Though I've never seen I Eat your Skin, that it was released alongside.Leave a comment:

Speaking of synth and Moogs, what about 'The Goblins' ? Argento, Bava, Fulci, and Romero loved to use those guys - not as grating or as shrill as other scores, but they are great -

This score could easily be used for nearly any of the original Universal Monster films...

I'd actually like this played at my funeral - like Vincent joke at Bela's funeral: he suggested that they bury a stake in Bela's coffin, "just in case".

I really like "I Drink your Blood" it's so damned over the top and that early synthesizer score just makes it unique.Leave a comment:

"Street Trash"...LOL...leave it up to Dirty Jersey!
What about the scene where the cracked-out bozo gets his wang ripped off via a 'glory hole' in the fence?! LOL
'Street Trash' is the ONLY film that I have ever seen that depicts a MELTING hobo flushing HIMSELF down a TOILET - - it really is cinema gold!
'I Drink Your Blood' - wow - wasnt Olivier in that gem??
Mikey - for sure...I will be seeing that one.

Well, keeping with stuff that hasn't been mentioned yet, howsabout:
Squirm
Starcrash (fantastic post Star Wars Italian space opera)
I Drink your Blood
Some more Italian Mad Max/Escape from New York ripoffs
Raiders of Atlantis
The New Barbarians
Bronx Warriors 1 & 2
Also another of my favorites
Street Trash(an 80's film, not for the squeamish or sensitive, but then... you asked!)Last edited by babycyclops; Nov 30, '10, 7:33 PM.Leave a comment:

You've never seen The Car ?
That's a must ... (made before Christine and Maximun Overdrive)
About an evil car driving around New Mexico running over people.
Brolin is the local sherif of a small town it's happing in.Leave a comment:

AWESOME stuff guys - keep them coming!
Mikey - "The Car" ? I'm guessing a Christine/Maximum Overdrive type of deal?
Mazinz - Awesome man - many of those sound like the ideal cheese.
TheDoLittle - "Flesh Gordon", eh? You might be surprised to learn that I'm not only a FAN of the film, but that my ex-wife and I also had bit-parts in it! It's true - she played the character 'Ivanna Cox' and I played 'Space
Colonel Angus' ! Its true!

The 70's version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers" was an awesome flick.
The Fog was in the early 80's but still a good great flick to think about.Leave a comment:

I remember vividly begging my parents to take me to see it and both of them vividly refusing to do so. I saw it years later on one of the local channel's late movie and thanked my parents for not indulging me.
"The Island" with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson was a direct rip off of that movie. So much so the original "Clonus" production company sued Michael Bay and Dreamworks, which settled out of court."Parts", eh? Sounds right up my alley..
I recommend the MST3K DVD version because of the interview with director Robert Fiveson, who was honored to have his film riffed on.
I knew you were a fan of "Flesh Gordon"! 8-)As to the other 'blockbusters' you mentioned, yes sir, most of those are favortites
I can't believe I forgot "Piranha"!! It was filmed at San Marcos, Tx, where my mother attended college, as well as up and down the river. I've visited many of the shooting locations as a kid and even swam in the same places where people were shown as being eaten. It can give you a somewhat warped perspective... 8-)FallenSaviour - Yes - those underwater monster films. I enjoy those, but the one I'm after pre-dates all of those though. (I cant be sure of the exact YEAR, but the film was filled with mutton chop side-burns, exposed chest hair, and bell-bottoms.
Also, it wasnt UNDERwater per se, it took place on a boat.)
