CHEW! From the Producers of Walking Dead

The producers of Walking Dead are also working on a TV adaptation of Chew, one of my favourite new indie comics.
Walking Dead Producers Adapting Chew For TV Too Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors

As the premise suggests, it's incredibly dark comedy.
About a police detective who experiences psychic visions of everything he ingests (including the corpses of murder victims)
It would be terrific if they got creator John Layman's casting choices...

I'm not sure if I'm ready to forgive Felicia Day for "Red" yet...

So Red isn't that great eh? Too bad, I liked the comic by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner.

I mostly know her from the Joss Whedon stuff, but my buddy just raves about The Guild. Not sure if I'd be into The Guild since I'm not a huge gamer (my personal relationships and productivity would sink to zero if I was, which I guess is the point of the show?).

To be fair, I only walked by it while getting beverages a few times but the wife saw the whole thing. It's made by SyFy and filmed in Hamilton, so she knew what she was getting into. My wife watches "Lost Girl" religiously, so when she says something is bad, I take her word for it.

My wife loves the Guild and she isn't a gamer so you don't have to be. I've seen the first and second season, it's OK but I think it's sort of like Venture Brothers for her, I fail to see what makes this so appealing.

Ah! My bad. I thought you were referring to the recent Bruce Willis film.

As Red Riding Hood updates go, I have fond memories of Company of Wolves, but I haven't seen that since I was a kid.

The Guild is hilarious, and I am not a gamer. Great cast, acting and writing.
