I didn't catch that. I thought for sure that it would be Noah coming out to lead them back to the hospital. Maybe it was a creative edit to make us think that was what's going to happen.

Gotta say though, these last two episodes have not been my favorites.

I don't know if any of you caught this, but during one of the AMC commercial promos last night during TWD, they briefly showed the scene with Michonne getting up off the steps of the church, and Daryl approaching her waving Carol out of the woods behind him.
    Nice spoiler there AMC!

I miss the days when I thought Rik and his kid could be killed.

I think we follow Glenn and Maggie this Sunday. The preview looked good.

Dumb, why risk going out and fighting walkers or gangs like Daryl met just for that?
Good thing these idiots didn't run into the Governor!
Why did they need to climb down the elevator shaft? No stairwells? Didn't get that part either.

It was a weak episode, I don't really like Beth either. I am also getting sick of these groups of people that "take people in" but won't let them leave. Every group they have run into won't let people leave.

I think it definitely would have built suspense to have the group pursued or tailed by an unknown, masked individual, only to have him come to their rescue and reveal his identity when necessary. Kinda think they dropped the ball on that one. There was really no good reason for Morgan to actually have removed his mask in the grand scheme of things...

Only Rick, Carl and Michonne met Morgan, but I agree he should have left the mask on.

Best moment was the pervert guard getting taken out! TWD does an awesome job of delivering "just desserts"!
Great minds! I was thinking this as well. With the end of the season having them going to get Beth and Carol the hospital? Didnt occur to me that Noah might be a relative of Tyrese, though? Episode was decent but I don't think Beth can carry an episode on her own. Happy to see the guard get his. Irritates the heck out of me that woman keeps belting Beth. They mentioned guards in the stairwells so I figure that was why they descended down the elevator shaft. So, what was the deal with the mortuary set-up with the dog and then the zombie attack? Seems like that may be someone else?

From a production angle, it offsets the costs of the previous and upcoming travel episode.

It was one main location, a few co-stars, a handful of extras and all shot by the second unit while Nicotero/Kirkman worked with Rick's Crew.

From a story position, this all occurs during the Cannibal brawl. It's the infamous Lost tactic of distracting the audience from slowing down the pace.

The problem is we already know the outcome. Daryl and Carol free Beth and bring someone else back. I'm guessing they ran into Morgan who helps them take down the hospital since he's got the urban combat experience. So if Daryl brings him back to them camp, while wearing his Prowler gear, that will still be the reveal. Otherwise, it's the kid who escaped before Beth.

EDIT: Hindsight now tells me they shouldn't have had Morgan take his mask off in the teaser prologue. That would have been cool to see Daryl run into him for the first reveal, cause I don't remember if Daryl even knows who he is.
