Seemed like lazy writing in this episode. Kill someone off and have cameos by many of the other killed-off characters. Fill up an hour like painting by numbers. No real gain, no real direction after the break. Just waste an hour on hallucinations. Interesting to note the people who didn't appear: no cameo or hallucination of Andrea. -

For me, it all went a bit "lost" with all the ghosts turning up and talking to him lol... Certainly a depressing one.Leave a comment:

Really, this is quickly becoming like those Final Destination movies... It's just a matter of time until they all die in some grisly way... They need to find a new place to derive their suspense... Without an end goal other than surviving, it forces the writers to just cook up new ways for someone to kick the bucket. I guess that's fine for most folks though... They certainly aren't hurting in the ratings.Leave a comment:

I thought he would survive without his forearm and finally man up and stop being the babysitter. I guess not.Leave a comment:

Did anyone notice all of the shots where you could see the Aurora Forgotten Prisoner model on the table behind Tyrese? That had to be on purpose, a little tip of the hat from Greg Nicotero.Leave a comment:

I found myself completely zoning out while Tyrese was monologuing endlessly to the Governor.Leave a comment:

Way to start the second half season with an uplifting story that really really makes you feel good both in body and spirit. That episode really put me in a fantastic mood, cool stuff. Lets see if they can do better by torturing some harp seals or boiling kittens next week.Leave a comment:

I guesstimate the death ratio based on the upcoming story arcs. Gabriel and Neegan is expensive stuff, so people's were gonna die.
This death felt very arbitrary, which works in Dead's favor. I think it would be really crazy if the killed off a character every episode until they were down to a core group and left a cliffhanger as to who was going to bite it. Like, take a character with big comic history, intro them in one ep and kill them by the end of that episode.Leave a comment:

Was a little surprised they went right to this, but I was kinda expecting Tyrese to leave before they headed to Virginia.
You would think that after all they've seen and done they would have a plan for searching new areas, but as always, they split up and stuff happens. What are they in such a hurry for anyway? I personally would be looking for running water and a clean shirt before taking off on a 500 mile drive in the heat. It's a tshirt Rick, not a uniform!
I know it wouldn't make good tv, but wouldn't it be sensible to find a strong house, barricade it up, and take time to rest a day or two? No area is totally safe, but there has to be more places like the farm where walkers aren't as plentiful.Leave a comment:

Tyrese fell victim to the Walking Dead's "Law of Conservation of Black Men."
For your consideration:
Show starts with T-Dog.
T-Dog dies so they can add Oscar from the prison.
Oscar dies so they can add Tyrese.
Bob is added ("hey, we are the biggest show on tv... maybe we can have 2 whole black men!")
Bob dies so they can add Gabriel ("... but certainly not 3. Let's not get crazy").
Tyrese dies so they can add Noah.
Oh yeah, the dreaded too many brothers at the same time scenario, let's replace them one by one. They also have two black chicks right now...one of them better watch out, lol.Last edited by Hector; Feb 9, '15, 3:40 PM.Leave a comment:
