    The Zombie Apocalypse Hits Toronto!

This is one of the biggest Zombie walks in North America. Thousands show up to participate and many more to watch.
    Toronto Zombie Walk

I've just donned my Umbrella Corp Security uniform and I'm off to wrangle Zombies in the city streets. If you don't hear from me again, that means the Zombie Apocalypse has begun in earnest and we've been overwhelmed by the undead!

(they are playing Return of the Living Dead tonight at the Bloor and then the after party's on Queen at the Bovine Sex Club.)

Despite the rain towards the end, this year's event was even bigger than before.

          Plus... GWAR was there!

My friend Linda went as Zombie Tomb Raider (lol don't ask) and another friend went as well. I wish I had gone.
I'm very much afraid of Zombies and I have a whole Zombie Plan if something goes down while I'm at work.

It's astounding how inventive some of the costumes get.

It was really fun road marshaling because you get to see everyone participating and all the costumes, but on the other hand what a pain... one girl spit "blood" on me because I was trying to persuade her not to deface a car (and thus get arrested by one of the police in attendance).

Does the plan involve hiding out in the Gretzky water tower or heading over to Gowan's place?

Sorry - those are the only things I know about Brantford!

I visited the computer museum in Brantford this summer. I'd head over there and play pong and dragon's lair if I were stuck in Brantford during the zombie apocalypse.

Damn, didn't know about this and I was in Toronto that day too (taking the kids to see The Wiggles in concert). Then again, I probably shouldn't be scaring the crap out of my kids by showing them stuff like this (yet..).

My 5 year old nieces were visiting me last year and a bunch of zombies walked by us - I was a little nervous about how they'ed take it - but they loved it. They still talk about it.
