    has anyone bought a copy of this classic just want to know what the quality is like on Blu Ray

          YES! I bought mine a year ago and was blown away by the quality. One of the better Blu-ray transfers out there. And to think you can get these for $9.99 at Walmart is just amazing.

              Omg, buy it!
              It is an incredible transfer....beautiful transfer.
              I noticed things like never before.
              You will not be disappointed unlike some other br transfers like predator.

                Exactly. The one thing I can remember is near the beginning of the movie when Laurie is in class and the teacher is talking and she is looking out the window. I always wondered why she was worried about that particular car parked there because I didn't see Michael Myers actual sitting in the car. I have watched this movie maybe 30 times. I pop the blu-ray in and for the first time, I realize that Michael is standing behind the car staring at the window she is looking out of. He really blended in with the background in the standard def versions, but he popped right out on the blu-ray.
