Are your movies in NTSC ?

Meaning will they play in an American/Canadian DVD player ?

Judging from where you are I would say most of your stuff is PAL format

also for the film you are looking for "there is something out there" Do you mean the film "day of the animals?

The only movie i haven't been able to find and have been looking for forever is " Firebird 2015 A.D" Has anybody seen this or know where I can get it. I remember staying up late to watch this as a kid. It starred Darren Mcgavin ,was filmed in Canada, and released in 81'.

it is because you need to look for it under the name of day of the animals. Shriek show/media blasters released a special edtion a few years back (region 1, US). It is still on ebay and amazon.com. I know sometimes they would also release their stuff overseas with different companies. If you decide to import you need the one from the link below. It has both versions of the film (something is out there and day of the animals). I think though it was only like part of a scene difference and nothing major between the two

Amazon.com: Day of the Animals: Christopher George, Leslie Nielsen, Lynda Day George, Richard Jaeckel, Michael Ansara, Ruth Roman, Jon Cedar, Paul Mantee, Walter Barnes, Andrew Stevens, Susan Backlinie, Kathleen Bracken, Robert Sorrentino, William Girdler, Bub Asman, David Sheldon, Edward L. Montoro, Eleanor E. Norton, William W. Norton: Movies TV

Man, "Day of the Animals", that brings back memories. My parents took us to the drive-in to see that film. Bit of trivia, this film was released on the exact same day as Star Wars was back in 1977. And if memory serves, my father decided to take us to see this movie BEFORE he finally agreed to take us to see Star Wars.

BTW, NTSC/PAL makes no difference if you are watching on a PC, that's true, BUT if you are burning the discs for someone to play on a stand alone DVD player, the format will make a difference. And unfortunately, converting a DVD ISO file or whatever from one of the formats to the other is a bit of an involved process, it isn't a simple case of just hitting a button in a disc burning program or anything. Just a heads up in case someone is planning to play on a DVD player instead of on a PC (unless you have a multi-format DVD player in which case you don't need to worry)

I have some obscure 70's horror flicks I might be able to add to your collection. However, they would be in NTSC format.
