    Director Roy Ward Baker passed away on Tuesday at the age of 93. He gave us a number of memorable genre films including FIVE MILLION YEARS TO EARTH, THE ANNIVERSARY, THE VAMPIRE LOVERS, SCARS OF DRACULA, DR. JEKYLL & SISTER HYDE, ASYLUM, THE VAULT OF HORROR, THE SEVEN BROTHERS MEET DRACULA and THE MONSTER CLUB.

      I was just thumbing through The Vampire Book and read Baker's entry last night. Weird.

      Big fan of "The Vampire Lovers". One of Hammer's best.
