    Piranha 3D

Anybody else seen this yet? Lot of fun. My experiance was ruined a bit by a couple of kids who shouldn't have even been in the theatre since this is Rated-R and is a legit R movie. Needless to say they um, embrace the stereotype.

Anyway, aside from that annoyance, the flick was pretty good. I gotta say, this might be one to skip the wives and see with some fellas though. There are a TON of boobies in this movie, lol.

Great homages to the old Roger Corman movie formula though, and slick enough to be entertaining and not seem like a retread of typical modern horror movie.

Plus Kelly Brook in that red bikini, and Elizabeth Shue!

R for everything under the sun: Drug abuse, lots of naked women, gore, violence, foul language - this one has it all

Ya know in a day & age where media feels like a letdown so many times,
branching off into bull....well, THIS movie has accomplished a LOT....it's
"THE BLACK KEYS" of "thrillers" or "slashers" or whatever you call this genre
...screw "SCREAM"---I'll take this PIRANHA flick any day of the week.

Thanks for the warning. I think I'll skip this one.

I'm sure that's what the Cobra Kais thought as well.

I liked it. Ain't gunna win any academy awards, but it was great entertainment. I liked the Friday the 13th reboot as well. What really burns me up is what Rob Zombie did to my favorite movie franchise - Halloween. The original is one of my top two or three favorite movies. I was really looking forward to the reboot, and what do they do? Give it to Rob Frigging Zombie. Dirty greasy straggly haired biker gang casted remake of Halloween. The first was almost unwatchable, I didn't even bother with Halloween II. I am still upset about that to this day.

But back to the original thread subject. I did like Piranha.

The guy i work with went to see this and says it is awful, had no need to be in 3D and just came over like a soft porn movie.
I don't know i havn't seen it, just passing this on.

"Just came over like soft porn" and "awful"?
                            Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....................

Is he saying "soft porn movies" are awful
or just that PIRANAH 3-D is awful overall?

If he's saying "soft porn movies are awful" then he's biased...
and now it's our job to figure out
if P3-D is a "good" soft porn movie or a "bad" soft porn movie.

Sadly I do and while the premise was the same killer fish attack a resort area unlike some imo bad remakes like Halloween this is fairly original
