My friend worked there at the time and found it funny while we sat in the empty theatre watching this opus.

My pal Sean did the makeup for that movie, he doesn't mention it much.

They missed Dracula:The Series from 1991. This Drac was so lame he couldn't off 2 annoying kids and an old man in the run of the show. Good thing Mia Kirshner (later of 24) was on hand to sucker in viewers.

Dracula: Dead and Loving it is so...off. It should be funny, but it's just not. I think if it were filmed in black and white with the Universal flavor, like Young Frankenstein, it may have worked better. But since it was a spoof of Coopala's and Brownings, I guess they opted to go more modern.

Van Helsing's Dracula would be my top Dud-ula. That guy sucked more than blood for sure...

The funniest thing about Dracula: Dead and Loving It is the title. The only chuckle the film gave me was the mind control scene at TR.

I still think the gag is kinda funny, in a vaudeville kinda way. But you couldn't pay me to watch the whole film. I can't believe it's the same guy who did Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, and High Anxiety.

I pitched this one to TR too but it had been taken, it went to the better guy because he came up with some fun obscurities.

Can't fathom why Van Helsing Drac didn't make the list an even dozen however, The Blade Trinity Dracula was number one for me too, couldn't agree more. That guy made Count Chocula seem believable...
