I finally scored a copy of the "Strange Invaders/Invaders From Mars" double movie set in the $5.00 bin at Wal-Mart! Looks like I'll have plenty of movies to watch on my vacation in a couple of weeks

I was at a new, small flea market today and picked up a barely used copy of "The House That Dripped Blood" for $3. For $3 you can't go wrong with Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing and Ingrid Pitt! After seeing the Vampire Lovers and Countess Dracula, I'm a fan.
K-Mart had a mixed bag of movies in their Halloween section. From "Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein/Wolfman" to "The Hive" and "The Exorcist". Kiddie stuff, disturbing classics, and modern schlock all crammed together!
The back of the box description for Galaxy Invader "An Alien is hunted by a gang of hillbillies who saw him crash-land his spaceship." That sold me on buying this one.

Sounds like a true story from a couple of towns over.
Today I picked up several genre DVDs. At Wal-Mart I picked up the new "Land of the Lost" movie, as well as copies of "Tomb Raider" and "Beowulf", both for $3.00 each. "Beowulf" comes bundled with a copy of a Beowulf PC game as well. At Big Lots I found copies of the newly restored and colorized "House On Haunted Hill" and "Reefer Madness", as well as the restored version of the 1930's release of "She". "House" and "Reefer" both have audio tracks by Mike Nelson as well.

Just picked up The Omega Man on Blu-Ray for $9.99 at FYE. It has classic Charlton Heston 70's goodness. Also got all the Evil Dead movies for $5 each at Wal-Mart, hadn't watched them in a while and with the commentary on, they are awesome!
