Grizzly vs Prophecy

Which was better ?

I would have to say Grizzly wins this one.
Prophecy was no slouch and did have some good scary scenes -- but ole Grizzle was way more consistantly scary/fun.

Which did/do you like best ?

Hmmmm....

Tough call. I think I kinda like Prophecy a little better. Not that it's a better movie, but it's got some neat underlying ideas. (I remember being disappointed seeing it though; 'cos it didn't live up to what I was imagining.)

man thats funny that Prophecy 1979 has come up for discussion I had the DVD in my hand 2 days ago and left it behind,cant go wrong with a Mutant Bear . John Frankenheimer was a good Director but didnt really execute on this project

My father told me the Prophecy story. When I was little. 7 I think. I love the movie from my father´s story. I never did see Grizzley. I have the original VHS of Prophecy and the new DVD. WISH the DVD had extras but.....

However I DO think the Prophecy would make an excellent remake.
