The 70's Chiller Theater intro probably scared me more than any TV or movie monsters.

That damn Nosferatu has always creeped me out. I don't think I could ever watch it alone. The similar-looking Vampires in Salem's Lot from the 70's spooked the hell outta me, too.

I don't have any monsters that spook me anymore but I still have a movie moment that makes my skin crawl. Exorcist III - Its a long shot down a hallway of a nurse walking in and out of a patient's room. Very quiet scene, no music. She goes in twice, nothing happens. The third time she walks out a huge figure walks out directly behind her draped in sheets carrying a large knife. The camera zooms in as he prepares to attack her and the scene fades out. Very nightmarish.
Here's the majority of that scene...

Conventional and traditional movie monsters don't scare me.

The creepy ones for me are the normal-looking humans who act like monsters...like Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs and Norman Bates of Psycho...because those people do exist in the real world...unlike vampires and werewolves.
