Just caught this one. They seem to have found a slight twist on the increasingly crowded Zombie genre, by turning the societal microcosm subtext of Night of the Living Dead into a smash you over the head socio-political statement with mixed results. Then again, how often do you get to see an Iranian America woman as a film's lead protagonist?
The movie is no where near as funny as the trailer tries to make it out to be. I was hoping for something a lot more gonzo, and it's only moderately camp at times.
