I thought somebody DID make a custom, way back when. It's a definite classic; but I think the cucumber monster from "It Conquered the World" would win in a fight.....
Back in the early 90s as I was building my monster movie collection on VHS. I had a devil of a time trying to find this classic. It wasn't until I got the name correct. I kept looking for "I was a Teenage Frankenstein", the real title is simply "Teenage Frankenstein".
This was another one of those films that I saw when I was very young and impressionable. Funny how the films we cherish as adults are the ones we saw as kids!?
Thunderbolt, thanks for the pic and info. For some strange reason, the VHS copy I viewed years ago had the title "Teenage Frankenstein". Still, I also don't remember reading the title in the opening credits. Once I saw the picture you posted, I remember seeing it way back in my childhood. Probably printed in a copy of Famous Monsters of Filmland.
If my memory hasn't completely failed me, I think they steal the body from a teen Hot-Rod accident. Watching with a friend, I said; The police will never miss it. The perfect crime." Wish I could remember more, I remember it being B grade hilarity.
