Got two favorite types, 50's SF/horror-usually with a scientist, tough military guy and a dame. The other falls in the Underworld/Dracula 2000/Hellboy sort of mold where there is a modern take on folk lore and an organized response to it.

What Are Your Favorite "Style" Monster Movie?
You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksTags: None -
I really enjoy monster movies, be them japanese, italian, english or American. Mostly I love the really budget crap like American International or AIP but the Universals and Hammers are faves as well.
Never much one for slasher flicks.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

I highly enjoy the Underworld/Dracula 2000/Hellboy stuff Joe mentioned, but my preference goes out to the classics: 30's to 60's Dracula, Frankenstein, werewolf an mummy movies, with a twist of sci-fi"...The agony of my soul found vent in one loud, long and final scream of despair..." - Edgar Allan PoeComment

I'm pretty much the old-school style of stuff I'd see as a kid on Creature Fetaures and Chiller Theatre....Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Slasher films, zombie movies and any thing Troma. Most of my life has been spent watching Friday the 13th movies, Nightmare on Elm Streets, George A. Romero movies and any thing Lloyd Kaufman(if you even consider ANY of his film's horror :P).
I do enjoy the occassional Universal Monster flick, I LOVE Frankenstein movies, and the Wolf Man has always had a place in my heart too!I the Monster HeroComment

I like the hokey 50's and 60's B pictures. I love watching those on a Saturday night, just like "Chiller Theatre" back in NYC."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment
