    Paramount to remake Monster Squad

    Topless Robot - AUUUUUUUUGGGGHHHHHH

    I'm always happy to see classic monsters get brought to the forefront but I'm mixed about this.

    The original is kind of a mixed bag to me, too kiddy for adults and too adult for kids but the concept is great. Who am I kidding, I'll be taking my kids...

              I'm a fan of the original, but it was from that odd time where "kid" movies were rather adult in parts. I think everyone had E.T. envy since that film had some swearing and more adult themes.

              I'd bet money the Squad is upped in age so they can capitalize on Twilight mania.

                  Hmmmm....

                  We should take bets: will this be the big breakthrough film for the Jonas brothers? Will the little sister now be 16? Tacked on love story? Sparkly Dracula? Explosions and car chases? "Scary German Guy" an ex-special ops commando who kung-fu's the werewolf into submission?

                                              Is that the old 1986 kid's movie? I totally forgotten about it. Is it the same movie about that girl who was being left out befriends a Frank stein monster? I must find it on DVD with subtitles. I have not seen that movie for years.

                                                  My wife reports she saw Monster Squad at Wal-mart for $6 or so yesterday. I guess because of Twilight: New Moon's DVD release.
