Werewolves films...not exactly box office hits

Kinda shocked...especially since the werewolf is my favorite monster...

...and to make matters worse...Twilight: New Moon...is by far and away...the most popular flick featuring werewolves...oh dear...

Well, you can take heart in the fact that the original 1941 film isn't listed - I'm sure that one beat Twilight by a mile.

If you adjust for inflation, it's a little rosier.

Wolf would be closer to $100M and American Werewolf in London more like $70M.

Also, a lot of those movies opened to terrible reviews. My friend did the makeup for SkinWalkers, I don't know if he puts that one on his resume...

I always thought it was stupid how they count box office dollars instead of tickets sold. how can you compare a blockbuster from 70 years ago to a mediocre movie today when the tickets were maybe 25 cents back then and $10 now? The new one will always sound like it made more money.
