    Shutter Island

I saw this yesterday. Its not scary per say but it has some creepy moments. There is a good twist at the end.
Worth seeing even though it has titanic boy in it!

The "twist" is pretty obvious to anyone who's seen a few asylum movies, but the movie is still really good. DiCaprio is staggerlingly good, especially toward the end.

The twist I'm thinking is that he is probably a patient himself?
Not trying to ruin it but I'm already thinking that going in.
If I'm wrong than this will be great if I'm right then I new it.

I thought this movie was a waste of the digital media it was filmed on personally. I remember thinking "Damn, I know this is a Scorcese film, but it sure feels like a M. Night Shyamalan film". DiCaprio was good but that's 2 and 1/2 hours of my life I'll never be able to get back.

I read the book when it came out and loved it. I could see the "twist" coming because of the setting, but it was still a great read.

I'm looking forward to seeing it soon - the previews look very much like what I envisioned in my mind as I was reading it.

This is another movie on my want to see list. I think I may wait and rent it though.

                    going to see it tonight.

You know, DiCaprio has just gotten better and better as an actor as he has aged in my opinion. I didn't like him when he first started...but he has grown on me.

I expect he'll be really good in this role...

After "The Departed" he is unquestionably a fine actor.

I'm not really a fan of Leo, but I saw this movie last night and enjoyed it much more than I expected to. I do like Ben Kingsley...there is something very dignified about him, a presence.

This film was just to predictable. I watched it on a sunday morning in bed, man was I depressed after this film, certainly not a morning film

I like DiCaprio, but I do know a lot of people who can't stand him, so I get where you guys are coming from. If he want's to spend the rest of his life anchoring Scorsese movies so Scorsese can get the budgets he needs, it's fine by me.

I thought that Shutter Island was pitch-perfect acting and production-wise, but the script was a real let down. It was really predictable, but even if you don't see the ending coming I think a lot of people might feel like the ending is a huge cop out. There are very few movies where the unreliable narrator gimmick works - for me.

It's a movie I wish I could have enjoyed watching more, because it was well done. Ah well.

The book was awesome! but im afraid the movie will be a let down.
