Okay theres teh Jason that gets frozen and waks up in the future and turnss into a cyborg, Jason x

Theres the Jason that went to Hell and came back to fight Freddy

Then theres teh Jason who got rebooted.
Was Jason X suppossed to happen AFTER Freddy vs Jason?

Well.... yeah. About 250 years after.

Don't forget there's some ambiguity from the original series too; like, what's the deal with dead Jason in 1, and not really dead Jason in 2, and Jason of the lake in between?

I can see it now; "Crisis of Infinite Jasons," where all the alternate realities converge.

I thought it was weird how the first three films actually ended. Like they weren't planning more. By 4 it was pretty obvious this was gonna go on for a while.

I gotta admit; I was never a fan of the slasher flicks. They're all WAY too similar. But I kinda like the idea of Jason. (And I really liked "Jason X.")

Personally, I'm not really into the mythology of the story at all. I like Jason movies where it just sticks to the formula - To me it's more fun that way.

My favorite is part 3 because he first gets his goalie mask, and a guy gets his head smooshed, a stoner guy gets killed after using an outhouse (he doesn't wipe), a couple having sex get speared by a machete through a hammock...You know, classy stuff like that.

I loved Jason X and hated Freddie VS. Jason, the mythology is just boring to me.

yeah I just meant the begining where he is intial frozen happens after Freddy vs Jason.

My favorite is the one with NO Jason. The NEW BEgining. More nudity violence , a disgusting fat kid gets killed. Crazy story line.

Everyone ends up in space right? Leprecaun, Hellraiser, Jason . . .Has Chucky been to space yet?

Jason X was great because it parodied Friday the 13th. I LOVE the "Holodeck " scene!!!!

If you wanna get techincal it'd have to, since the authorities are aware of him at that time; and as of.... well, ANY of the films, the public at large doesn't know or believe in his existence.

              >I LOVE the "Holodeck " scene!!!!

I laughed at so much of that film. My favourite was "It takes more than THAT to stop ME!"

              >I loved Jason X and hated Freddie VS. Jason,

Freddie vs Jason didn't live up to the hype. It'd be like, oh, I dunno.... "Superman vs Dracula;" and they spend the whole film hashing out their differences over a cup of tea. The premise kinda bugged me too, since Freddie wanted folks to be afraid of him again, so he summons up.... someone else?

I like most the movies some don't make sense like the ending in Part VIII Jason takes manhattan.FvsJ was just poorly done.
I would like to see them hammer out a desent script , I like pitting him against other icons, Like Ash and leather face, Or characters with powers like part VII.

I have to admit my fondness for the more gonzo aspects of Friday The 13th Jason... when he became undead, fights the telekinitic girl, goes into Space and becomes a cyborg, fights Freddy.

My disappointment in Jason takes Manhatten was he didn't actually spend the majority of the movie finding new and interesting ways to kill the massive population of the city in and around the famous landmarks.

And he also didn't spend that much of Jason Goes to Hell in Hell itself.

If they are going to promise to do something off the wall, they should take it all the way y'know?

You know, I own the first two films but I could care less after that. I'd rather they had ended it with #2 so that every time you went camping you'd be thinking, "He's still out there somewhere."

"I prefer to remain an enigma."

I always kinda felt that they never intended for the first few to have sequels. And then they raised him from the dead and, well.... you know.

Did'nt he get blown to bits at the end of one of the films?
I hate it when they try to milk the dry cow.
IMO it would have become a better classic if only 1 film was made.
