Would George Romero zombies attack Universal Monsters ?

    Weird thought,

If you dropped Universal's Movie Monsters in the middle of a bunch of George Romero zombies, which monsters would the zombies go after ?

My guess would be Frankenstein and Wolfman.

    thoughts ?

Zombies tend to go after living flesh, so:

Dracula: no, they'd leave him alone. Too skinny anyway. He's undead.
Mummy: no, he's just a walking shell. No fresh meat either, though he might be nice and crunchy.
Frankenstein: hmmm, he was dead, but re-animated. If they like reheated microwave food, they might still go for him.
Wolfman: yes, he's alive and kicking. I think there would be wolfburger on their menu!!!!

So I think they'd first go for dogboy!

Now the tough one ..... Creature From the Black Lagoon.

Would they see him as a human or just an unappetizing animal ?

I think the Universal monsters are in for a world of hurt. Of course, if you took modern versions of the same monsters they'd tear the zombies a new ******

Nah... In Dawn of the Dead the Zombies ignored the dog, so they'd probably look at Wolfman as some sort of canine.

Unless they are really attracted to the brain waves of higher animals...

So the question should be: "Would Zombie Scuba Divers chase Flipper?"

In the Dawn of the Dead remake there was a plot point about the zombies ignoring a living dog.

                  edit: Great minds Joe90...

Well I doubt very much that George Romero's slow-***** shuffling zombies could even catch the fast-moving Lawrence Talbot converted into the Wolman.

Good point. (I'm picturing a race between Zombie and Mummy....) BUT; if the Wolfman bit one, would he become infected and turn into a werewolf/zombie hybrid?

Frankenstein would rip off their arms and beat them to undeath with them.

Not if he gets ganged up on. He can take one or two zombies at a time, but two dozen? They'd tear his arms off, they're only sewn on, remember?

Doc Frankenstein used really good thread to survive fires, sulphur pits, freezing, so its probably zombie resistant too.

As much as I like Frankenstein, and I really do, I still think he's no match for 20 Romero zombies. Remember, we're talking Universal Frankenstein, he was slow as mollasses. Granted, so were the Romero zombies, but they vastly outnumber Franky
