I liked it, but didn't love it. I thought it was a bit draggy at points. I thought they did a good job of showing how he incorporates his intellect into his fights. Downey and Law have good chemistry, which helps quite a bit.

This Movie was Fantastic to me on so many different level's.
Perhaps the best thing Guy Richie has ever directed. I previously wasn't a great fan of his work. Downey and Law's Chemistry is Great ..., and thier Humor really carries the Movie. I really liked the "Flash Back" Usage of Explaining what happened or was going too. It was interesting to see the Flick being more so Directed towards a Part 2 to the end as well. I enjoyed the Film.

I agree 100 % I just dug this movie... I have read a Holmes book or two, and I thought it was close ewnough, paying homage in the right spots... I gotta go rent it now that it's out.

Saw it in the theaters and really liked it. Hard for me to follow the accents at times, so I'm really looking forward to buying it on blu-ray and watching it in high def.

I was hoping this'd be a return to form for Guy Ritchie, but I found myself disappointed by the movie. Not because of any messing with canon, but more because all the best parts of the film were revealed in the trailer. I actually kind of liked the reimagining of Sherlock Holmes as Batman/Columbo.

But this film doesn't come close to being the delightful piece of genius that his second film 'Snatch' was. I did well enough to warrant a sequel, though, so I'm glad it was a success.

Definitely an ok movie, but lock stock is Richie's best flick.

I like Snatch better, but Lock Stock is up there too.

I'm looking forward to seeing this. Hmmm, maybe we can hope to see some new figures from Castaway...
