Wicked pt 1

Sorry about the delay. First I was not going to sit in the theater for close to 3 hrs (I need bathroom break) and my movie partner was overseas so why go and watch a romantic movie by myself. Now I have in my personal comllection more Oz video and books that I can remember going all the way back to a silent film. So of course I wanted to watch this version.

I download the digital movie when it came available and had a hard time with all the changed to the mythology to OZ. I had to stop it several times because it just me much I had to read the original play story on wiki to understand the movie.

Then when BF got back we kicked back on loveseat and watched it. On the second viewing and knowing the history, I was better and just thought of it as multiverse version were they Disneyfied the movie. Now I cannot see this as a sing-along movie, the other songs are just meh, the last song is the only one that will last.

BF (who just watched the original recently) really enjoyed it. He loved to musical but told me the only song that stayed in his mind that the "Defying Gravity".

When part 2 comes out will we go and see it, probably (I will just go to the bathroom during a song ).
