Salems Lot (remake)

anyone watch it yet? thoughts? I watched it, wife was afraid to, lol. for a straight up vampire movie it was okay, but as a remake of a classic TV miniseries based on one of Stephen Kings most famous novels, it was way too rushed. coming in at under 2 hours they had to rush through far too much and there was no buildup of the suspense and fear. they even showed Barlow right in the beginning of the movie. I liked it well enough but it is not one I would rewatch

There is enough in the novel to do an 8 hr Netflix series honestly. Some flashbacks to Marsten and have the Jerusalem’s Lot story as a prequel and the short story he did in Night Shift as an epilogue.
