My last post on the subject didn't generate much buzz.
That's kind of my fault, as I wanted to be deliberately vague. But I realize now I was doing you guys and myself a disservice by not being open about what the house was, or what its significance is.
I visited the house feom Godzilla vs. Megalon. In the film the area is still very remote, but these days there has been a lot of development around the area. So much so that we got a little lost trying to get to it (we could SEE it, but the trouble was trying to get to it!)
It is a fairly well known landmark, that would still be famous without the Godzilla connection, as it was designed by a noted architect. We didn't get any closer than this photo out of respect for the current homeowners.

The man in the image was a chauffer btw.
