So what's up with "House of the Wolfman"?

I heard about it here first (through their Megoesque commercial Brian posted), and then saw the trailer on line. It looked fantastic. Read elsewhere that it was to premiere Oct.1st, and then...nothing. Is it coming to DVD? Limited theatrical release?

    Anyone know?

I thought that ad was just a custom job. I didn't think it was a trailer for an actual project. At least that was my read when I looked at it.

I'm following this on Facebook....not a whole heckuva lot of info...I've asked about a possible USA listing of theaters, but it fell on deaf ears.

Sad, i would be really stoked to see it on the big screen as opposed to dvd next year.

The trailer looks fantastic, just like a old Universal one. I want to see more of the Frankenstein design from this.

              This looks fantastic!!!
I would love to watch that on the big screen.

Thanks for the info guys. My one complaint about all of this, is it seems their viral marketing is very spotty. With such a great-looking product, they should take better advantage of the web.

I saw the film and it wasn't what I expected. It was more B movie quality than a classic Universal feel. The were some nice sets and makeup in the film. The acting wasn't very good and there was more humor in there than I expected. It was a bit slow moving at times. I was told it was put together fast for the tribute to Michael R. Thomas. Worth checking out though.

Would you say it's in character with the other two "House of" movies? I always found them to be in the "B" category more than the originals.
