Didn't hold up to the hype but was ok. Not a movie I'd put on my "must buy" list but was worth the $1 rental.
Not enough zombie action for me and I didn't like the "fast" zombies that are so popular nowadays. I like the George Romero slow zombies.

Oh, and the Bill Murray part was just dumb.Leave a comment:

you are correct sir!!!
It was originally a tv pilot but never happened so they(the writers) decided to do a big picture instead. They have stated that they have possible sequels already worked out in the storyline as a movie franchise.Woody has said he would love to reprise his role.
So here's hoping the future brings more undead love.
Due to the film's success, writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have already planned a possible sequel, with many more ideas they want to explore. "We would love it, and everybody involved creatively wants to do another one", said Wernick. "Woody Harrelson came up to us after the final cut of the last scene and gave us a hug and said, 'I've never wanted to do a sequel in the previous movies I've done until this one.'" Wernick said he plans to have Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin to star again with Ruben Fleischer returning as the director and that the writers have "tons of new ideas swimming in [their heads]". Additionally, they want to make the comedy into an enduring franchise. "We would love to do several sequels", stated Wernick. "We would love to also see it on television. It would make a wonderful TV series".
Though intent on making a sequel for the film, Reese and Wernick have not yet started to work on a script and do not want to reveal any potential Zombieland sequel plot points. They are not planning on an immediate sequel, due to being heavily involved with other writing projects. The original cast and director are all set to return and Fleischer is enthusiastic about the idea of doing the sequel in 3D.Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg confirmed in February 2010 their return for the second installment of the series.Last edited by fallensaviour; Feb 27, '10, 3:21 AM.Leave a comment:

Hmmmm....
The last 30 seconds are one of the bestest things I've ever seen!
I think I read somewhere that this was supposed to be the pilot for a tv series. Anyone know anything about that?

Destened to be a Zombie classic I'm sure.

Woody's great, but the kid's just as hilarious.
Worth it just for the climatic funpark slaughter.
Loved it.Leave a comment:

I get where you are coming from, but I have learned, with time, that I realize something that Hollywood doesn't: No one cares about your political views (be they from the right or left) or personal views (spare me any opinion on any subject, please). You're an actor and researching a role to play a Rocket Scientist does not entitle you to pose as one in real life. Just shut up and entertain me already.
