I don't really like Halloween inGeneral..., Just not a Fan of Micheal Myers ... This Thread had me thinking what Carpenter Flick I do like ..., right Now all I got is Vampires .
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

I like the Cheese factor in those Films...., but with the Bad acting in Both,.. they are very hard for me to watch without laughing,.. & then the Surf Board to car in LA ..., yeah, that would even be far Fetched in a Deadpool Comicbook.

The "Idea" of those Movies are fantastic,.. as well as Russel Typed as Snake,.. but outside of that, like I said, I find them very rough to Watch. Now,.. I can Watch Big Trouble in Little China All Day Long.

BTW... I do own them Both,.. couldn't pass them up in the DVD Bin for 5 a piece.

the transfer of this film is exceedingly excellent. You hear all the blurray horror stories of grainy video, poor shades of black, and it all gets blamed on the technology used at the time (ie, Predator comes to mind).

I tell you, I am freaking picky and hard to deal with because of my level of expectations....this show looks amazing on bluray...simple amazing.

            $10 is a steal.
You'll see things you never noticed before...like watching it for the first time.

I've never been a fan of the Halloween films either, just can't get into them. The only Carpenter film I really like is THE THING. I absolutely adore that film, I've seen it countless times and never get tired of it, but I'm not much of a fan of the rest of the director's work. Don't know why, the rest of his stuff just doesn't do it for me.

I agree completely. I put the disc in today to check out the picture and I was BLOWN away. I didn't think they could get an old independent film to look THAT clear & sharp. It was amazing. If your a fan of the classic, this is too good a deal to pass up. And don't judge what you think the picture might look like if you see Halloween on the HD movie channels. That stuff is bogus. The real deal is on this disc.

That's good to hear, considering how Anchor Bay messed up their other early Blu-ray releases (Evil Dead 2, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead). I'm still really disappointed with those Blu-ray discs.
