    American Werewolf in London remake!?

    Ohh goodness.
While searching for anything regarding the BluRay release tomorrow, I found this:

    http://goremasternews.wordpress.com/...redo-in-works/

Landis has sold his rights to Dimension to allow a remake.

    Ummmm....crap. What's next.

Doesn't surprise me in the least. They're making remakes of everything nowadays, so wake me when we get to the Jaws (Shia Labouf as Quint), Godfather (featuring Shia LaBeouf as Michael Corleone), and Star Wars (Extra special co-starring Shia LaBeouf as Chewbacca and Third Jawa on the right) redos.
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

One of the great horror classics of modern cinema and they want to remake it? That's nothing but good ole fashion greed. You can't improve upon the original.

Oh man all I need is a one way ticket to a Hollywood producers office and I'd be a freaking millionaire.I have so many movie ideas it's ridiculous and none of them involve remaking anything.

You fail. As an exec, the idea of a remake means job security. If it tanks you can say "but.... the original was popular! I was just playing the odds." If you do something ORIGINAL and it tanks, it's all you. Same reason the same actors keep getting work. It's safer to go with the known name.

barring some newer CG effects (not that the original's effects weren't cutting edge at the time) there isn't room to improve. the humor, the modern pacing, it was an instant classic horror film possibly the best of the 70-early 80's

I have no doubt Bollywood's already done it. Complete with singing and a rainstorm.
