Target has four of Lee's Dracula films for $9.99!

If you've been into Target lately you've noticed they now sell multiple films in one case. I was strolling through this past Saturday and found a two disc set containing four Christopher Lee Dracula movies for $9.99! That is crazy! Those movies are: Horror of Dracula; Dracula has risen from the grave; Taste the blood of Dracula; and Dracula A.D. 1972. One movie per side of each disc. If you want those classic Hammer films at an insanely cheap price, now is the time to get them!

Ooh, I need these! Are these in the regular movie section?

Hopefully we'll see a lot of good old horror flicks on DVD with Halloween fast approaching.

That sounds like the same set that Wal-Mart carried a year or so ago.

I found mine in the television section where they always have their special discounted movies in the isles (right by the Bu-rays). These are not with the regular movies against the walls. If that makes sense.

Yeah, I saw those there a few months ago and if I didn't already have 2 of them I would've bought it.

I only have one of those films on DVD, so I'd pay that to get the other three I need. I'll have to check out the local Target next time. Thanks for the heads up.

I went to one local Target, and they had no sign of this. The other store in town is smaller, so I didn't figure they'd have it. They did! I'm watching me some Dracula tonight! Thanks for the heads up!

I watched "Horror of Dracula" last night. It's been quite a while since I watched the entire movie. It still holds up very well. I like how Lee's Dracula is just one evil bastitch, he only vaguely tries to act otherwise when Harker arrives. He's animalistic take on the Count really works, he comes across as something more than human.

As a big Batman fan, I've long read that Neal Adams took some cues from the way Lee worked his cape in drawing Batman. It's evident here!

Of course the movie takes HUGE liberties with the novel, but it still works.

One question; Why do the vampire hunters always stake the female vamps in the stomach in these Hammer flicks? They put the stake right below the breasts. Shouldn't they be aiming a bit higher? Maybe they just can't bring themselves to destroy the nice cleavage?
