    Cinematic Titanic

I don't anybody else is an MST3K fan (I'm pretty rabid) but several of the original cast has reunited to produce an offshoot series that is a lot of fun.

As a bonus, you can download their movies so there is no wait time.

I've bought three thus far and can't wait for their next releases of "Alien Factor" and "East Meets Watts"

    Check it out here:

Is it worth buying, or will I be yawn like I was for Film Crew?

It has more of a MST3K feel than rifftrax does, probably because of the shadowy characters and sight gags. I kind of enjoy the bigger cast as well.

Mind you, I also like rifftrax, just watched "The Room" and howled.

Watched 3 over the weekend (kids went away), the movies were mostly awful things I have never heard of (and I thought I knew them all) but the crew made them very enjoyable.

Have you watched any of the Film Crew stuff, Brian? It has Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett and Kevin Murphy... the Rifftrax guys doing MST3K-ish joking. They're available to watch on Hulu. I liked the Hollywood After Dark one a lot.

I've been wanting to try a Cinematic Titanic episode... which is your favorite?

Film Crew to me seemed a bit forced, like they are trying too hard to be funny. The host segments are beyond bad.

I don't disagree, but, at the risk of committing blasphemy, I think most of the MST3K host segments are pretty bad, too.

I've got some rifftrax shorts and a few of the tracks themselves, don't know if the film crew is different. None of the stuff I have involves any host segments.

Thus far "Blood of the Vampires" but wow, the movie is poor. I'm looking forward to Don Dohler's "Alien Factor" which is something I've actually liked on it's own.
