I didn't enjoy it, Campbell pokes fun at himself but his character is an over the top cartoon and not anywhere near the interesting and funny guy he actually is. He's a penniless drunk, self absorbed coward who lives in a trailer and makes wretched movies, mostly cheap laughs.

Wow, I am surprised you all didn't like it very much, I enjoyed it a lot I think it was very funny. Yes it was not Bruce playing the real Bruce. But it was Bruce in a cheesy "horror" film role. I think maybe people expected a little too much. Everyone who I know who saw it really enjoyed it. I mean it was not Army of Darkness or anything but it is Bruce in a slap stick role with silly one liners and, at least for me, that is why I like Bruce in the first place. I do wish he could land some larger mainstream movie roles. I love him in "Burn Notice". I guess time ill tell. I did see the movie with Bruce so maybe having him there made it better for me, Although I have purchased the movie and have watched it a few times since buying the DVD. I still enjoy it bad acting and silly plot and all.No body takes pot shots at Lubic!

I watched this a couple of weeks ago. I still prefer "Bubba Ho-Tep" by a mile, but it was ok. I just wish I could get that damned theme song out of my head

Pure Bruce all the way.It's a cheesy B-movie what were you looking for...
Laughed my butt off.There are a lot of inside bruce jokes that make it even funnier.
My kids even loved it.
