Any Argento fans? Which one of his movies do you like best and why?

I like all his films but i think Suspiria is superb.
That scene at the start where the girl is walking towards the automatic doors and everything is so quiet inside whilst the raging storm goes on outside and each time the doors open you get an idea of what she is walking into is the best example of foreboding ever. -

I think Zombie is Fulci. I guess I like Suspiria the best, but I always wish Argento would have someone else script his ideas, because he's a better director than writer.Comment

I like Phenomena and Mother of Tears has one of the most creatively sick murders ever.Comment

Yeah, Fulci directed ZOMBIE (aka ZOMBI 2) although Argento did completely re-edit Romero's DAWN OF THE DEAD (which he co-produced) for the European market and retitled ZOMBI. Confused yet!
My favourites are SUSPIRIA (the colours, the sounds, the murders!), PROFONDO ROSSO (one of his better stories and great soundtrack), OPERA and TENEBRE.Comment

Zombi... The best Zombie vrs Shark fight scene ever.......... Well the only zombie vrs shark fight scene ever.

Profondo Rosso (Deep Red), Suspiria and Demons and Demons2 are some of my favorites.
He also did some short stories for Masters Of Horror that are pretty cool.
And just a couple of days ago I saw Mother of Tears, which is a typical Argento movie (starring his daughter Asia).
And yeah, he's a cool guy, just doesn't speak Enhlish too well

I enjoy all of his movies, however Suspiria and Demons are my favorites. How is Mother of Tears? I just found out about this one the other day, is it worth a rental?Comment
