Clockwork Orange Eyes

Man I am struggling at work today....been here since 6 and the first 4 hours were spent stiffling yawns....the last 3 hours ive had matchsticks in my eyes forcing them open clockwork Orange style...only an hour to go now.....Pillow...Pillow....
anyone else having a day like this?

Jolt and all those other energy drinks do nothing for me...I've tried Caffine tablets and they done nothing for me either (funilly enough aspirin and paracetamal do nothing for me as painkillers either)....looks like its matchsticks'a'gogo for me again this week....I think the problem is that on the underground we work 7 straight days in a row prior to having 2 days off...and getting up at the crack of dawn or in the afternoon (if on nights) for that long without a break takes it out of you full stop and no "unperscribed" energy boost stuff is gonna work.....either that or my chemical makeup over the last 21 years on this job is now so screwed up normal stuff don't work on me.

Try more. That's what I do. Until I get them heart palpitations.... then I stop.

I think that's the only reason I've worked there 20 years...lol.
Did you know that when they filmed "The Web of Fear" the bbc asked to film on the tubes and got refused because the underground didn't want bad publicity i.e monsters on the tube.....so the designers made there own sets of tracks, tunnels and stations....when it was aired the bbc got annoyed phone calls from London Underground demanding to know who allowed them to film on their property.
I've gotta say...having been down the tunnels and stations for 20 years they did get it spot on.
