Some say Phelps is the man...I say Usain Bolt is

Bolt goes 3-for-3, adding relay gold to 100, 200 - Olympics - Yahoo! Sports

    Three gold medals...three world records...unreal.

Oh he's freakin' AMAZING! Even though his races are over in the blink of an eye, he's fascinating to watch!

A lot of people are talking about Phelps this and Phelps that (I have nothing but praises for Phelps, he's also awesome and amazing, but he gets a lot more coverage than Bolt).

However, people that understands track and field will tell anyone that what this Jamaican Usain Bolt has done in the 100 and 200 m race (track) is astonishing.

The records he has set will probably be broken only by him. And do you know what's the scary thing? He started running the 100 m for the very first time less than 12 months ago!!! And trainers and other experts say that he still needs to improve his technique. Can you believe what this man can do to those records if he improves his technique?

He shattered the 200 m with the WIND going AGAINST him (-0.9 m)!!!

And he shattered the 100 m while slowing down in the last 20 or so meters!!!

Plus he is a very cool cat too!

Viva Phelps, but viva Bolt as well.

Yeah NBC should have played up his races a little more this week...especially since Phelps has been finished for several days (or has it been a week) now...he should've been the breakout star in the 2nd week but a lot of his stuff was televised late

well I'm sure in Jamaica he's getting his props or w/e

But the facts are that Phelps is American and he's not

Plus Phelps won 8 golds and set 7 records

Bolt is awesome though, many are saying that some NFL people are asking if he's willing to play...imagine having him as a Wide out?

Jamacia has some great runners. Phelps record can never be broken in swimming of 8 golds unless they add more events. All records can be broken except the Dolphins PERFECT season.

To me, Track and Field is the best part of the Summer Games.

I'm excited about what Phelps achieved, but Bolt is just about as amazing as it gets for me.

                    8 records (7 world, 1 olympic).

They are both amazing to watch, but I agree that Bolt should be getting more coverage. When Phelps can slow down at the end of a race to look behind him and still kills the competition, he'll be in the same league with Bolt.

His name alone should be getting him more attention. I'm waiting for the runner with the last name "speedy" or "flash" to emerge.

I totally Dig Phelps and what he's ascomplished, but WOW. Usain Bolt is Amazingly Fast. I can't wait to see how he progresses. Who would've Guessed that in this Olympics we would actually find a real life Aquaman and a Flash. Jamaica ruled the Birds Nest and America Ruled the Water Cube.

Bolt is amazing and should get more coverage. People said Michael Johnsons record would never fall and Bolt beat it easily. Bolt's record will fall, it's just a matter of time while I don't know if Phelps gold medal total ever will.

His dad or uncle said he got fast from eating lots of Yams. That cracks me up.
Phelp and Bolt are definately the big names coming out of this olympics. I really enjoyed watching that dude run. Sick, ridiculous, mad, crazy fast. I hope he doesn't go to football, but wouldn't be surprised if he did.

Usain Bolt is an amazing runner. I enjoyed watching his races. I heard he donated $50K through the Chinese Red Cross Foundation to the children in the earthquake-hit areas of China.
