Adobe Flash player help

Well, I tried to install and run 9.0 today. Now, through the magic of modern technology, not only did it not download, now I have no version whatsoever. IT"S GONE! I cannot play any video nor apparently can I DL the newest version. It just friggin sits there and does NOTHING when I hit the install button.

What the crap am I doing wrong and how do I fix it? Thanks for any help you may provide.
