Latex anyone?

I started this as a new thread here at The Museum to see if anyone has had any recent experiences with such a product or an equivelant. I want to cast and make my own custom belts and or accessories with a pliable product. I would really like to hear from someone hear that knows of a good product to use for this type of application. If all else fails I will do a Google search until I find something that looks appealing. Any help anyone?

Not for me thanks. . .wife is allergic. . .it is a nightmare. Latex is in everything. She has to wear a medi-alert bracelet. . . because the first thing an ambulance service or Doctor will do before seeing you is. . . .PUT ON LATEX GLOVES!!!!

My kids can't even have balloons in the house. . . and I can't keep anything in my wallet if you know what I mean!

I hear you. Some folks are real allergic to latex. It is amazing what some people are allergic to: Some examples include but are certainly not limited to being allergic to other things such as strawberries, chocolate, bees, carrots, furry animals and the list goes on and on. Fortunately, I am not allergic to anything that I am aware of atleast. While I am at it I think I will start a new thread on that topic just for S&G's.

I am with you on that. I have not forgot how yet, but thank goodness that it is no longer an option for me either.

Latex breaks down over time - you want to use silicone. Just make sure you keep your hands clean while you work with it, or the oils and dirt get in it and you get dirty, icky prints in your work.
