Keep My Son In Your Prayers.

Hello not sure if this is the right place to put this but just needed to let this out because I did'nt know how else to let it out. For the past three days my son has been having seizures. He is only eight and I really hate for him to have to go through this. He may be started on medication tomorrow and hopefully he will be fine. I am really ****ed because it sucks when a child has to go through this. I get after him sometimes when he misbehaves but I love my children so much. I wish I could take this away from him and he could be better. Today was the first day I witnessed him having a seizure. In my line of work I see it all of the time but to see your own child going through this hurts so much. All I want is for everyone here to just pray and hopefully he will get better. Also he loves megos and action figures. He is a great kid. Please everyone just keep him in your prayers. Thanks.

My brother's youngest daughter started going through this as a toddler. She was on several meds and they did tons of experiments and nothing seemed to work.

Today, she is a healthy 13 year old and to this day they have no idea what caused them (some doctors) ugh.

Thoughts are with you and your son. It must be hell having to watch your kid go through something like that. I have a feeling it will turn out positive for you to.

Thank you. When he was smaller he had one and they did and EEG on him and while awake the EEG was normal but it was abnormal while he was asleep. The doctor said his seizure activity was happening when he was asleep. This is the first time he has had them while he has been awake. It is just confusing. I don't want for him to be on medication but I also don't want him to be having the seizures. Man it is hell. Here is a pic of him. He is the one with the white T-shirt.

While I do not have any kids myself I can really sympathize for you and for what you and your son are going through. I will definitely say a prayer for your son and I do hope that he gets well very soon. Best wishes to you and your family.

I have 2 boys of my own who both had tumours when they born. As a Dad, I can empathize with you.

My thoughts will be with him.

I'm not religious so saying prayers would be hypocritical on my part.

However, my heart goes out to you, and I will project the most positive thoughts I can muster in the name of your son, I want your son to get well, or at the very least, decrease the frequency of the seizures, I'm sure he will get the best treatment possible, and of course, the love of his entire family, especially you.

I have a son of my own, so hearing something like this really hits me. I wish all the best for your little boy, and will keep him in my thoughts. Keep positive and give him all the love and support you can, and he can pull through this.
