U.S. Women's Soccer

Well finally something to cheer about....The U.S. Women's Soccer Team just won their semi-final match against Japan 4-2.

Now onto Thursday for the Gold Medal match against Brazil. Brazil is just looking scary good. They beat Germany 4-1 and I believe the current rankings are USA #1, Germany #2, Sweden #3, Brazil #4.

The Women's team has played them 3 times this year and beat them all three times 1-0 but Brazil looked better today than I have ever seen them.

I'm hoping my boss isn't going to have a problem with me coming in late Thursday so I can stay home and watch the game live.

I don't feel so bad about the men's team losing to Nigeria now 2-1. They smashed Belgium today 4-1 and are heading to the gold medal.

Wow they look good. It will be interesting to see how they play against Brazil or Argentina.

Are you starting to become a Soccer fan? I tell you, it's contagious once you start watching it. I realize that the games usually aren't high scoring affairs, but it is exciting to see the shots and near scores. It is one of the few low scoring sports that can give you a major adrenaline rush (especially when both teams are getting a lot of good shots on goal).

lol! I just like watching the USA teams or when it's the world cup or something I use to play goalie as a kid so i enjoy watching them make all those stops
