    MySpace. . .FaceBook. . . etc . . .etc. .

I started a MySpace page back in 2006 when the Museum joined and started the blogg. Haven't logged on since 2006 until today.

BUT. . . how many of you have a MySpace or faceBook pages. . . and what do you use it for????

Just wondering. . . is there a revolution going on out there that I am missing out on????

    I have about 5 friends....

I haven't logged on to facebook in weeks...that's maybe the reason I only have 5 friends.

I use my facebook for myself, I see no point in friending people I don't know. A close friend of mine however collects friends like trading cards, he has over 300.

I set up an account on myspace to communicate with my nephews. They don't write back and rarely call but do respond to messages. Also nice to see their activities... Something you don't get every 4-6 months when you visit for a weekend!
Too many toys. Not enough space!

I was talked into facebook by my younger friends at work (some of them have 500+ "friends"). Honestly, the best way to describe that website is "the biggest time waster in the history of mankind." There are tons of things you can do on there, and I've yet to find one that is relevant to living on this planet. The best thing I have found to use it for is to keep in touch with some people I went to high school with.

I know! I'm picky about my MySpace friends. Someone who has things in common w/ me, or folks I actually know, whether IRL or online I've added to my friends, as well as some celebrities I admire, (who will on rare occasions, actually reply to my messages). I only have 25.

I am on Facebook only because I had to view the Planet of the Apes Commercial by Adam O. Then, I started seeing other people I already knew from the apes groups I belong to, even two members from here.

I like hanging out on MM and other forums better. My inlaws in Kenya just wouldn't understand my current obsessions.

                    I'm on Myspace and Facebook.

I have 3 friends on Facebook who are also on my Myspace.

I don't like Facebook at all. It's pretty boring. I have around 28 friends on Myspace. It's all Friends that I know. It's easy to keep in touch. I actually come here to The Museum way More.

I set up an account on Myspace many moons ago to claim my existence. I really have not did anything with it much other than browse around a small bit. From what I had seen at the time it was mainly teenie boppers. There are so many web sites and I have not made enough time in my day to view them. I am already a member of a lot of other sites so I already have way too many different passwords to manage and remember. I still do to this day receive a bunch of requests for people wanting to be friends on Myspace. Most of which I presume is someone either trying to spam me, sell some crap I don't care about or what have ya. I would venture to say that 98% is nothing but BS so I do not even read them. I think I have one friend on Myspace currently and that is the default friend that everyone gets when they sign up initially. I may have future plans for that site some day. Atleast I have the name that I wanted.
