Out of 50 shots I took, this one made the cut (I love the immediate gratification of digital photography!!). The harsh sunlight really made all the colors garish and made it impossible to take a nice photo. I tried all of the auto settings (beach mode, snow mode, even adjusted the plus/minus thingies on the camera to adjust the light). The colors balanced themselves out when my son cast his shadow over the figures and luck was with me. It didn't help that Dylan kept muttering, "Oh my God, Mom. Do you have to do this? Oh my God!"
