Dude, that's great, I love Miami Ink, I watch it all the time. You and Chris are in shape...the thing is, it's almost unbelievably that you look like you could kill anyone in here...but online you are such a pussycat, lol.

BTW, I HATE LA Ink...and I can't stand Kat Von D (even though she was born in Mexico)...she's a pretentious airhead...I'm glad she left Miami Ink...and yes...I watched LA Ink once...and that was it...couldn't stand it.

No way dude, she does trace portraits...not very original.

        You want the best?

        Chris Garver BY A MILE!!!

Let's see Kat do a wicked dragon or tiger like Garver does...good friggin' luck.

yeah i guess it depends which type you like better,i personally think it's a little harder to do the portraits stuff

No doubt Garver's the best in Dragons and all that Oriental stuff ,Man i gotta pass by there and get inked up or something,he told me to pass by.But they're pretty pricey

Tracing portraits is not as hard as what Garver does...he has the ability to tattoo freehand directly on the skin without tracing, that takes incredible skill and a LOT of guts, lol. I'd pay to see Kat do that (she admitted on one episode that she couldn't do that). The new dude in Miami Ink does the exact same work Kat did...just as good.

I'm not saying Kat is not skilled, of course she is...she does incredible portraits...but IMO Garver is overall the more wicked tattoo artist.

...and is that true the Miami Ink regulars are hardly there...that a non-television staff does the bulk of the tats there?

Chris is a great guy. He tattooed my forearm on one of his visits to Baltimore, probably 13 years ago. Just hanging out at a friend's house and he had all of his equipment with him, so we spent the afternoon putting Fred G. Sanford with devil horns on my right arm. I'm guessing it's been close to ten years since I've seen him. I haven't made the trek down to Miami to catch up with him since living down here, one of these years.
