WOW - Those were great songs. . . I have heard but never knew who sung them!!! Thanks for the links. So which one voluntarily left this mortal toil. . . the Dark haired singer in the first clip, or the lighter coloured haired guy playing the Keyboard in the first clip and singing in the second?
I hope my kids never get famous then. . . . too many film stars and great musicians jut seem to self destruct. . . .absolutely tragic loss of great talent!
Having a thick skin and a good sense of responsibility definitely helps when enduring the tests and trials of the music biz, or the entertainment industry as a whole. Sadly, so often it's the artists who get treated like dirt and are chewed up and spit out.
Badfinger were incredibly talented, I think people who enjoy the Beatles or just enjoy old power-pop of the Seventies should check out their back catalog, there's alot of gems to be found there.
They had lots of hits actually....."No Matter What", "Baby Blue", "Day After Day", "Without You"....to name several. Look 'em up on Youtube, I bet you guys will be surprised to find you know quite a few of their songs even if you're not familiar with the group.
Talk about a rush of nostalgia!! 'No Matter What' has the 70's feel that I can remember coming through my Batman-shaped transister radio back in the day.
