    How F***ing much!!!!

Today me and Monkey Tennis ventured into Chesham to chase up a sighting of a complete K1 robot and Tom Baker figure.....sure enough the Robot was complete and very nice but although Tom Baker was quite nice with sonic screwdriver (a few bits of paint missing from hair and dirty trousers), he was hatless...repeat hatless.
I inquired about the price in the shop (a sort of bric a brac collectables shop) and he told me that he had an offer of £70 for the Dr and £150 for the robot....I said I'd seen a complete Dr with hat and screwdriver at a bin price of £50 on ebay so he said he could do a deal and lower the price....I said what about £35 and he said no way £50 was the least he could sell it for...then he said there was a cyberman too but he'd kept that...seems to me he was bumping the price up on both to cover the cost of the cyberman...lol
I didn't buy it in the end...I mean why pay the price I saw for a complete ( there was a complete boxed version from same shop for £90) for one that wasn't complete??????

So, why would he even consider letting something go for 50 if he already had an offer of 70 ? (sorry, I don't have a funny looking L key, that I know of ?) I turn and walk away from those jerks.

It was a good sweaty London day.....

The beer was cool and the tea was.......missing.

Next time we must pop into the Palace for a Cuppa.

But alas, it's all worth it in the end. Check out my custom Tom Baker figure in my gallery, with the new shirt/vest/coat variations. I wanted a Cyberman for a while, but hey, the talking 9" Cyberman was just fine for me. I'll just have to get a talking Dalek one of these fine days. And with the SUPER custom Leela someone made from a Mary Ellen, who needs the originals..?

BTW, I have a picture tutorial up on repairing the Mego TARDISs as well.. (Broken lights and doors..).
