seeing as I was only signed in last week again i can't work it out....they are now asking for a phone number.....so they can cal!!!!! *** don't feel comfortable giving them my phone number...so I won't be using it anymore it seems.

yeah me too the thing is that once someone asks for your info and they try and call you and see the number doesn't work,they report it to ebay and that's when they call

yup,only to the people who you are doing a transaction with...I've had strangers from ebay call me all the time.I'm like who the hell"s this? they usually just wanna make sure you're for real if your numbers not correct they can void the transaction

Jeeze so much for your transaction being private....what if it's around the world call...lol..can't see too many people verifying if it's gonna cost a packet to ring.
I can understand the ring the seller bit ...but doesn't that kinda make e-bay as the middle man redundant? You may as well just put sales up on relevent baords etc to sell stuff...lol
