The whole "we saved your *** in WW2" doesn't apply to the UK. They fought back for two years before we got involved. And...we were largely ineffective for a little bit, though we were involved. Ultimately, we done good, but it wasn't any of us, most likely our grandpa's that did it. They were the heroes and would probably kick our asses for this kind of crap, if they were here.
