I've been married to my wife Vikki for almost 11 years now, and we have a 2 year old son named David. I call her Bunji (long story) and I call him Davey. My name is of course Doc. My son thinks I'm awesome but he's so wrong. I'll let him believe the lie for awhile. He's the only person who thinks I "rule".

And since you brought it up, you only had sex twice?

Whatever he wants Surprisingly he doesn't care for basketball. He did play baseball when he was younger.

He gets his height from my Dad's side. I'm only 6'4", my Dad is 6'4" and my younger brother 6'6". Adam is 12 and 5'6" right now. But my nephew (my brother's oldest) is 10 years old and 5'7". He might give Andrew a run for his money.

Well, I'm glad to see this thread didn't get into some sort of flame war. Hooray for grownups!

The description reminded me of something that happened to my brothers and me a few days ago in Yellowstone. We had just come out of the backcountry and ran into a guy about our age going fishing with his two sons and his wife. He had a t-shirt on that just said, "My wife is hot." (And she was). We commented on how funny we thought the shirt was and the wife laughed and said she gave it to him. It was just a nice little reminder of how different we all are. My wife would never want me to wear a t-shirt like that around (not because she's not hot, just because she wouldn't feel comfortable being objectified like that), but his was ok with it.

I think the same thing applies here. While I wouldn't describe my life with my family like that in a forum, if his wife is ok with it, then more power to them!

Oh, I've been married to the Old Girl (she just doesn't have that "New Girl" smell any more) for almost 10 years. We've got a 5-year-old daughter named McKayla that I'm pretty darn fond of. She has no interest in Megos or superheroes or sports or pretty much anything I'm interested in, outside of reading books. And you know what? That's just fine with me.

I've had a great time so far learning how to play Barbies and my sewing skills come in handy when the dolls have wardrobe malfunctions. I'm also getting much better at staying in the lines while I'm coloring. I'm also an expert at pouring imaginary tea. And, I can sing along with her like a pro when we're listening to Ralph's World or Laurie Berkner CDs. Unfortunately, few of these skills look good on a resume, but that doesn't mean they're not worth practicing.

Yeah, there's lots of other stupid, inane stuff about me. None of it worth knowing. So, I guess I'm done wasting everyone's time.

                  As you were,

Thank you all for sharing your dearest.

First, I apologize for offending some but of course that will happen. I suppose the Man Show would offend some too even a religious show. Jesus? Opps, I might have offend someone. Sorry too.

Those that post are more than likely 30 and over males, so I would have said the same in the company of men. I gather that most would have a cigars and cold stout with me on any given night as we share our childhood fascination. Anyways, it was an off beat homage to my wife and family in posting our site. Of course I respect them, my wife laughed although thought it was "gross". Its ok. Really.

In my field, I deal with the unthinkable. We are all slanted in some way, its how we deal with our work. Ask the psychiatric nurse, she'll tell you stories. Maybe it was in bad taste, but most agreed that it was harmless.

Now continue sharing your stories. I am enjoying the reality of people's lives. I don't need to pretend.

THank you for your story and sharing about your children. It was not a waste of time, why I thought it was necessary for us to share. Its amazing though...how we as parents can spend hours playing again. I was just thinking how-just being there for Lorenzo while he plays means much to him. He will actually pull me off the computer and drag me downstairs to play with his Playmobile fireman and police set. He is just now getting into actions figures and making them dialogue. Its so cool how he will copy off of me while I push the cars around and he will just watch and learn how to play. I love it and him.

I was gonna be really offensive, (You know I can be!!) just to give everyone something to write about. That way I'd have something interesting to do at work today. But I won't. I'm 41 with a beautiful wife, and 3 kids. The boys, Chucky and Cory, are 20 and starting their 3rd year of college in a couple of weeks. Nicole is 12 and pretty much just like me, a huge pain in the *** with a sick sense of humor. I run a distribution center for a tea company, yes a tea company, hop on it all you brits that just love tea!!, and my wife has been a bus driver for 23 years. We celebrated 19 years of marriage yesterday. Other than Mego, I'm a huge sports fan, which is fairly easy to be in this area right now, and love comedy, especially the sick, profane ones. R.I.P. GC!! Maybe we should start a list of the seven words you can't use on a Museum post.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.
