of the next Nolan Bat movie ----she WILL be there.

Ah...but did You read the whole interview Hue? Nolan states that the studio was VERY suportive on what they wanted to do, because they were so pleased with Batman Begins. In other words...WB trusts Nolan & Goyer now...so They're not going to mess them. It's obvious from the violence level....that WB isn't trying to sell Toys, with Their new Batman Movies.

The thing about Will Farrell, he acts like he's nuts in real life .......
Playing a Bat-Villian would be so natural for him.

In a way, he almost reminds me of Gorshin --- where you think he might have had a few screws loose in real life too

                So noted.

I still don't think it makes any difference.

Raimi has always been considered a well-respected and strong-minded
director---AND Spidey 2 was a huge success----and Raimi still eventually
buckled (or changed his mind---take your pick)----and THAT was what
prompted my post to begin with.

It seems superhero fans take a lot of stock in what their heroes
(in this case Nolan) say, when the truth is that the truth can change
                at any given moment.

I'm not that naive to take what these people say at face value
because history has shown time and time again that that is a
foolish way to look at this stuff.

And I'm not naive either Hue...but I think Warner realizes that they have a Huge hit on their Hands for a change(with Mainstream Audiences, Critics & hardcore Bat-Fans)...and may have learned from past mistakes.

Depp would be good as the Riddler, but I'd like to see Steve Buscemi or Paul Ruebens get a shot at it instead. Imagine Peewee Herman in a question mark covered spandex suit!!!!

Who is to say that having Riddler or Catwoman in a Nolan Bat-movie is a
                      guaranteed "mistake"?

Who's to say Nolan won't change his mind for a myriad of reasons?

With apologies on "the harping" Bat---but I'm just seeing a quite narrow view
in some of these posts---and---I've seen it before from comicbook fans who
get "stuck" on something--- and then have a rude awakening when things
don't go the way a certain moment in time led them to believe is all.

Does it seem to anyone else that the story is kind of moving towards Robin showing up despite what Nolan and company are saying to the contrary?

Apology accepted on the "harping" Hue...it's just that I'm trying to keep a positive view(especially in light of the last two successful Batman Movies)...where You seem(and I could be wrong)to err on the negative side.

With acknowledgement of you saying you "could be wrong"---
I don't think that it's fair to venture to call my view "negative" merely because I think
aspects of the upcoming Nolan Bat-film can change as time and pre-production progresses.

I could just as easily suggest your view "negative" for negating the possibility that
Nolan could change his mind--- and that the Riddler and/or Catwoman could
                            actually ENHANCE the Nolan Bat-series.

I not affraid of Nolan changing His Mind Hue...I TRUST Chris Nolan! It's the suggestion that WB could force Him to change His Mind, that Bugs Me. The Studio hasn't been interferring...and it's working pretty GREAT for Them so far!

Nolan could bring in Bookworm and Condiment King and do something interesting with them. Just cause Spidey 3 blew, don't mean the same will hold true for Batman 3 or Dark Knight Returns or whatever.
