I know I still owe quite a few people stuff. Please bare with me. Yesterday I woke up with a numb left arm. My first thought was, stroke. I went to the emergency room and had blood tests, an EKG, and an CAT scan. Nothing, I'm very healthy for a fat guy. blood sugar was 78, normal, brain and heart working very well. Well I never realized it but last night I realized I lay my big head right on my arm. I now think I pinched a nerve that affected my arm. I'm going to my regular Doc tomorrow and have taken aspirin just in case but nothing leads me to believe stroke now. It was only my arm and it's slowly coming back. Unfortunately I'm left handed so It's been very difficult. I realize I owe some people stuff and my wife can help me box everything Tuesday night. Needless to say this is a big scare and even though I'm pretty comfortable this wasn't a stroke I have taken steps to reduce my risk(no more cigars, walk 5 times a week). We are all getting up there and need to take care of ourselves.

You take care of yourself first, Coach. Make sure everything is OK. The other "stuff" can wait. -
Take care o' yourself. Hope your tip top soon. Don't worry about my stuff, until your ready.
I often wake up with one, the other, or both arms totally numb, but I know that is from sleeping on them funny, cause it comes back when I roll over.
Good for you on the walking. The more exercise the better. Best wishes."Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."Comment

Oh Man. . .Coach. . .I know how ya feel. . .I have had some similar stuff happen in the last year or 2 and had a few stints in the hospital myself. . . it is scary as hell. . .and a big wake up call.
I have since lost over 20 kgs and given up smoking. . .started walking and riding my bike!
I hope you are feeling better soon. You already know there is no hurry on my stuff.Comment

Same here. Health comes first, shipping figures comes later. No hurry.
Take your time to get yourself checked out, to be safe.
My doctor ordered me to go to the gym twice a week, and I feel so much better now. No abs of steel, mind you, but it really helps.
Maybe we should all get from behind our computers more.
So all of you: get up and go out for a walk.
Right now.
I'm off!
Roger, you're still here. Pay attention..

Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
Lo they do call me.

I've had some on-going problems with my left shoulder. It gets scary when you get pain on that side. I went through a slew of tests a few years ago that put my mind at ease. I hope all turns out well for you. It's all good!Comment
